msg Plaut recognized as TOP service provider among Austrian companies doing business in Russia
On September 16-17 management of msg Plaut branch in Russia took part in the “Austria Connect CIS 2020” conference held in Moscow.
It is a high-profile networking event for heads of subsidiaries of Austrian companies in the CIS, organized by the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria and the Austrian Embassy in Moscow every two years.
This year the conference turned out to be one of the first offline international events since the COVID-19 pandemic, and despite the restrictions that still apply to big events in Russia, it was attended by 150 business executives and representatives of governmental bodies.
The following renowned speakers joined the conference and delivered their speech:
- Dr. Harald Mahrer, President of the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria,
- Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia,
- Dmitry Lyubinsky, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Vienna,
- Dr. Johannes Eigner, Ambassador of the Austrian Republic in Moscow,
- Rudolf Lukavsky, Trade Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in Moscow.
According to Sergey Katyrin, today there are about 1,500 companies with Austrian capital registered in Russia, most of which work in the real sector of the economy. In turn, there are more than 500 enterprises with Russian participation in Austria. The most promising areas of cooperation include agriculture, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, energy, and information technologies.
At the closing ceremony, msg Plaut was awarded as the TOP service provider among Austrian companies doing business in Russia (there were 50 nominations in 5 categories in total). Such appreciation of the company’s services by Austrian and Russian authorities is the best present msg Plaut Russia could get for its 10th work anniversary!
Since 2010 the company has developed its business in Russia from scratch, and now it is one of the leading IT consulting companies in the market, with more than 130 employees and an incredible potential for further growth.
Wolfgang Köstler, Oleg Luzginov and Igor Malkov, who have been at the helm from the very beginning, are sure the company has achieved the status quo thanks to the efforts of their Russian super team, global support from msg group and a bit of luck.
